MISSION STATEMENT
The permanent Endowment Fund of Cypress United Methodist Church (CUMC) offers an important opportunity to members and friends of Cypress United Methodist Church to express an everlasting appreciation of God’s blessings by making a permanent gift to the ministries of CUMC. Only the income from the invested funds is to be used.  The gift remains in the fund and continues to provide funding for ministries now and forever.

Possible ministries to benefit from this Fund may include:
- Community Nurture and Care Ministry
- Seniors Adult Ministry
- Youth Ministry
- Children’s Ministry
- Outreach Ministry
- Care and Maintenance of Facilities
- Worship and Music Ministry

INVESTMENTS
The funds are currently invested with The United Methodist Foundation, located in Austin, Texas.

YOUR GIFT
Participate in Extravagant Generosity!  Gifts of any amount are welcome.  In the case of honorary or memorial gifts that commemorate special persons or events, acknowledgements are mailed to both the donors and those being honored or their families.  Anonymous gifts are accepted as well and honored as such.  Examples of giving include:

ADMINISTRATION
The CUMC Endowment Fund is administered by a committee of 12 members: Pastor, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Church Council, Lay Leader, and seven at-large members.
