LOCAL MISSION PROJECTS
God gives each of us fantastic opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people right where we live, work, shop and play. The rebuilding of homes, lives and relationships within the community gives Cypress UMC great joy.
Honoring our military men and women who are actively serving our country and their families. Cypress UMC supports our military (see webpage) through prayer, partnering with Cypress Cares and Operation Coupon by sending care packages to members and loved ones that are serving in the military. FROM THE GROUND UP
Did you know that Cypress UMC was formed from "seed" money through this missional ministry? New churches are needed in every district of the Texas Annual Conference to spread God's Word among fresh furrows. "From the Ground Up" is a ministry of United Methodists to construct new churches and create thriving congregations among all ethnic groups to meet this burgeoning need.
Providing immediate assistance after a natural disaster within the community as we allow ourselves to be the hands and feet of Christ by addressing physical, emotional and financial needs.
